Welcome to our wine-loving guests in the wine-growing region of Lake Balaton, the home of crocodile wine!

      The Krokodil cellar was built on the western edge of the Tapolca basin, on the top of a special farmland, in the Hegytelek vineyard with a unique panorama. From our courtyard, the „witness hills” can be seen, testifying that the ancient Pannonian Sea reached up to their shoulders. Csobánc Hill, Szent György Hill, Gulácsi Hill, Badacsony, Szigliget with the Balaton crocodile, Fonyód on the other side and Somló in clear weather are fantastic sights.

     The pride of our family is the Ice Wine, made from Italian Riesling. We offer you a wonderful place, our cellar and our excellent wines. The sight of the crocodile on Lake Balaton, the unique appearance of the winery, the style, the architecture and the taste of our wines will surely make your stay with us a memorable one.

The Story of a Family Estate

Csali Vineyard

The Crocodile Cellar was built on the top of a special farmland, on the western edge of the Tapolca basin, in the Hegytelek vineyard with a unique panorama. The pride of our family is the Jégwein, which is made from Olaszrizling. We would like to offer you our wonderful location, our cellar and our excellent wines. It was one of the best decisions of our lives to choose Csali Vineyard as our wedding venue. Niki did her best to help us from the beginning to the day of our wedding. We fell in love with the beauty of the venue from the first moment we saw it, the panorama is simply breathtaking, you just want to sit and watch it for hours. The hospitality and perfectionist attitude of the Csali family impressed everyone. The dinner and midnight menu was delicious, everyone praised it. The staff were incredibly kind and professional. It was just perfect! We had our wedding here and we are completely satisfied in every way. Niki was extremely kind, helpful and attentive - we felt all along that she really cared about making sure everything went the way we wanted it to. The organisation was smooth and professional, every detail was taken care of and the event was completely tailored to our needs. The food was delicious. We visited the Csali Vineyard and Guesthouse for a hen party. The experience was simply fantastic! Every detail was taken care of, the service was 10/10 and the wines far exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the wine tasting, the atmosphere was guaranteed and everyone had a great time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, any questions we had were answered immediately and we were always greeted with a smile. The accommodation exceeded all our expectations: very clean and comfortable. We really felt at home. The location was perfect for our hen party, but I am sure it is an excellent choice for other events as well. Thank you for the experience, we will definitely be back!

In the last few days we had a joyous happy event, the wedding of my granddaughter. The venue was the Balaton Krokodil Guesthouse in Nemesvita. The event was a wonderful success, thanks to the dedicated diligence of the lovely owner Niky. The accommodation is family friendly, pleasant and clean. The welcome was excellent, the organisation of the event was wonderful. The service was commendable thanks to the elegant, kind and courteous waiters.The atmosphere was also very good with the quality music service. Wonderful place✨ Hospitality✨Isteni borok👌🏻👌🏻 The location of the estate is amazing! For me the winery with the most beautiful panoramic view! The atmosphere of the hotel is magical, clean and very well equipped! You don't often meet such hospitality! From the Csali family you can feel the love for the profession, helpfulness, all our requests were immediately fulfilled, we could not ask for anything that they would not have found a solution immediately! The wellness area is unique and very cozy! We also had a wine tasting, which was also a once in a lifetime experience, which I recommend to everyone who passes by! For me, the time spent here will remain a very pleasant experience🤍 Thank you!:)

We travelled to the estate for a hen party. First of all, thanks to Niki for saving us at the last minute, as our originally booked accommodation was cancelled 4 days before arrival. But how well they did. So we had a wonderful 2 days with the girls. They were endlessly helpful and kind in everything. The estate was beautiful, the wine tasting was of a high standard. The accommodation was clean, tidy and well equipped. The spa, sauna and hot tub, was excellent. I heartily recommend it to everyone!

We had our wedding here in August. We stayed there for two nights, but my parents stayed at the Crocodile Guesthouse for 5 nights. Everything is very clean and cosy. There are no words for the kindness of the bait and switch vendor. 🙂 We have travelled a lot in our lives and worked in the vendor business, so we have a basis for comparison, so we can honestly say that both in terms of service, vendor and event organisation, this place is outstanding.
